M is for the Midgard Serpent

The Midgard Serpent was one of the sons of Loki. It was thrown in the ocean to keep it out of the god’s way so it wouldn’t cause problems. The serpent grew once it hit the water until it was able to wrap around the entire world of Midgard (Earth). The Midgard Serpent would eventually kill the mighty Thor in the great battle of Ragnarok.
